akemi is a master papermaker at pace paper and occasional studio collaborator at dieu donné. since fortnight she collaborated with artist shepard fairey on a series of prints on handmade paper that exhibited at pace printa gallery in chelsea. she also assisted paul wong, founder of the studio dieu donné, during a papermaking workshop in north carolina. akemi is pursuing her solo creations, developing a following of her own work in and on paper.
