Jennifer Brooks, landscape architect at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, continues her investigation into Hartford, Connecticut. In this installment she explains the specially made maps that reveal new facts about the urban landscape.

Jennifer Brooks graduated from New York University with a degree in Urban Studies in 2002. She began work in the field of landscape architecture as a studio assistant in a prestigious firm in New York City. There she worked on projects such as the Hudson River Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park and Teardrop Park. Jennifer earned her Masters in Landscape Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Since 2009, she has been a staff designer at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects in New York.
