carla rhodes has been practicing ventriloquism since the age of 9 after seeing sheri lewis and lamb chop on television. throughout her teen years she performed throughout her hometown of louisville, kentucky. she has been living in new york city since 2004, and has performed at legendary venues such as joe's pub. carla has written and performed a full-length rock n' roll comedy ventriloquism show entitled "the continuing story of carla rhodes". she continues to perform on stages around new york city with her trusty sidekick cecil sinclair. her one woman show is also in continuous development.
